Judit Reigl in the american collections

 
 Since the beginning of 2023, a painting by Judit Reigl has been featured in the MoMA’s new exhibition entitled «New World Stage» and dedicated to international abstraction. This Guano (1958-64) by the Franco-Hungarian artist is exhibited among works by Jackson Pollock, Alberto Burri, Lee Krasner, Germaine Richier and Pierre Soulage.

Since the beginning of 2023, a painting by Judit Reigl has been featured in the MoMA’s new exhibition entitled «New World Stage» and dedicated to international abstraction. This Guano (1958-64) by the Franco-Hungarian artist is exhibited among works by Jackson Pollock, Alberto Burri, Lee Krasner, Germaine Richier and Pierre Soulage.

Judit Reigl is very present in the major American public collections. The Met Museum houses collages, drawings and paintings including a very important Éclatement dating from 1956. Almost 20 works by the artist belong to the prestigious American institution.

In 2012, the Guggenheim also included in its collection a work from the 1956 series Éclatement. The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston has works of different series, a 1959 Guano and a Déroulement made in 1974 and currently exhibited in the museum. The Albright-Knox Gallery houses two works including a more recent one, a 1965 Mass Writing and the 1986 Entrance/Exit.
